Hi Micha,

Again, thanks for your support.

I am now able to see a desktop session with the fluxbox manager.

What I have done is to change the file /root/.vnc/xstartup.

I have commented the startkde line and uncomment the fluxbox line below.

My next try will be to install some programs from the STAPI and to try to see how they work in the tribbox. Has anyone got experience doing this ?

Does somebody know about a company/freelancer with experience setting up the tribbox as a DVB settopbox using the STAPI  that can provide commercial support  ?

Regards

Fernando

Hi Fernanndo,

First you need an licence for the Stapi modules.
You must ask Ron how can you buy an licence.

Yes I have tested with the tribbox system to use the Stapi modules in this system.
If I have installed the driver for the kernel I can use the graphical output on scart and hdmi on the box.
With an litle modification on Wink an script from me I can switch to scart and hdmi.
I have installed the Stapi modules in a new path and modify the rc.local script in the tribbox system to load the driver.

Hi Mika and Ron,
I tried to download the Allsii media suite from http://superstreamer1.das2.ewi.tudelft.nl/shop/product_info.php?products_id=42&osCsid=9733a42602f62f5bd10b29bf34bdc8d1
but I received errors:
superstreamer1.das2.ewi.tudelft.nl uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is not trusted.

(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

I can’t register and I can’t download anything. Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob,

The Allsii Media Suite is a Windows application, it is unfortunately not ready yet. Once it is ready for the first release (a few weeks away) you will receive a message.

Thanks for your patience,
Ron
