Tribbox - Main features / Hardware / Re: About NIM Module Tuners in TRIBBOX

Dear Saraswathi,
The NIM modules can indeed become quite warm, this should not hurt the functionality though.
About solution;
Tribbox has a function of development machine. In case a Tribbox customer want the Tribbox hadrware for a project, we (AHT) can customise it. If volume is sufficient, the NIM modules get replaced by on-board tuners and possibly even different variations of ST7109 (like 7111).
Best regards, Ron

Hi,
The 'ICE' is the ST Connect Kit, which is s/w and h/w product to flash the memory of the board, and i.e. to load uboot into the flash memory.
It can only be acquired from ST (or their distributor Spoerle)
Best regards, Ron

Hi Rob,
The Allsii Media Suite is a Windows application, it is unfortunately not ready yet. Once it is ready for the first release (a few weeks away) you will receive a message.
Thanks for your patience, Ron

Tribbox - Get support / General Support / Re: problem in extracting u-boot
|
on: July 18, 2008, 10:02:10 AM

Dear Sankarprabhakar, I tried extracting the same in Linux.
I got Data integrity error.(unexpected end of file)
But it's partially extracted(i got 4 folders named "fs""include""lib_arm" and "lib_i386").
(I compared the extracted folder with u-boot.1.1.2 available in the net. It seems that lot of folders are missing. This gives me doubt about the source code available in the tribler).
This will be fixed today It will be helpful for me if i get a board related data sheets(Details of connectors available, details related to the chips used in the board).
For the chipset info you will need an NDA plus a STAPI (3rd party) license. Best regards, Ron

Dear Ron,
Could you provide the u-boot source on a FTP, HTTP, etc...?
I've already ask you the source more than 6 months ago.
And it's still not available.
Best Regards. Dear Plagnioj, We offer the source as a tribler download, however the archive seems broken. We will replace the archive today and also put it up for normal http download. Best regards, Ron
