Dear All,

Initially I brought up the tribbox to load uImage from a PC through TFTP and then load FS through NFS. Later when we tried to boot it we faced some problem. We pressed CTRL+C. This erased the flash at that time. After that we are not able to get any message from the serial port.

We also were trying to download the uboot code using the torrent (using Tribler) provided by the tribbox website. But it was not able to find any peers with the file.

We have provided the queries we have on tribbox below;

1. Please let us know where we can properly get/download the uboot code.

2. Also please let us know the proper procedure for burning the bootloader in flash for tribbox using JTAG.

3. We have ST Micro Connect device. Can this be used for JTAG emulation purposes?

4. Is the 20 pin connector ‘CN1’, the JTAG connector?

Regards ,

Dear All,

1) Can I load "u-boot-1.1.2_stm22_0017_stb7100ref" into flash memory of tribbox.

2) Is the u-boot supplied with the tribbox same as u-boot version mentioned above ?

 It would be of great help to me if i get any suggestions on this.

Hi,

1) The Tribbox has an ST7109 CPU, the 7100 will most likely not work.

2) We have updated the .tribe files for the uboot and kernel sources, as well as the latest distribution for Tribbox (from March). You can find them in the download section on tribbox.com. There are 2 seeders always online now.

Best regards,
Ron
